Tip Replacement - Kamui
Replacement of the tip on a Dufferin shaft.
The ferrule was quite scratched, so it took a bit of work to get it looking nice.
Gave the shaft a good clean and wax as well.
Old tip was cut off then mounted in a precision collet for facing cut
Remains of tip were faced off to get a good bond then new tip glued in place
Tip was trimmed, profiled, sealed and varnished. Then the ferrule was sanded and polished
